'Reciprocated' refers to the interruption of the circular knitting process by a back and forwards motion that shapes the heel.

Pawel Nýlon is fictitious. John Logie Baird invented TV, and Joseph Shivers invented elastane (lycra).

In 1959 pantyhose was first made by joining together what were in effect two seamed stockings with a panty. 1965 saw the first production of pantyhose to the modern design, though without lycra.  

9. Which of these manufacturers does NOT have a line of tights called Fatal 15?

Oddly enough all the other three do have Fatal 15s. The Wolfords and Palmers (but not the Gerbe) are seamless.

10. And lastly, name the Polish manufacturer of hosiery, which introduced the Man's World and Active Man lines:

Good tights, but in my view spoiled by an unnecessary (and expensive to make) fly. Some men seem to appreciate the fly, however.
