It still allow in the UK to wear anything - no illegal, maybe depend on country, I was wear tights and denim mini skirt that seem to be allow in public Ive wearing many time as cops passing me without stop or ask anything

In the US it's illegal to be dressed indecently, but not illegal to crossdress. Also, where would you draw the line? Some people might claim that all the boys wearing girls skinny jeans are crossdressing.

epilators have been suggested. I've just bought a Braun and done my first epilate session. So far so good, but still a long way from hair free legs (which are essential for any tights wearing!!!)

Ordered some tights from Emilio Cavallini, they're great! Good stretch, warm, opaque. Good replacement for my regular sock-wearing.

Men should wear tights for any reason also protect from blood flow that quite important, I do wear all time, love it. I wear with skirt that nornmal clothes

When is it too hot for you to keep wearing pantyhose (tights)

Hello!

Well. I woke up today had a shower and shaved my legs. I picked out what to wear. I headed downstairs to take the dog outside. I opened the door. I was hit in the face with heat and humidity. This was 7:45 am. It was already 25 ºC or 77 ºF outside. The air is so humid, you cant even breathe.

But I did get the dog outside and did my Thursday errands. I am in tights that I picked up in the UK, running shorts, a t-shirt and Teva sandals.

I was wondering when you all decide it's too hot to keep wearing pantyhose (tights)??

Keep wearing and be happy......I sure do!

It is not the heat – ultra-sheer 7 den tights under light cotton trousers are great, however hot it is. Sheer 10-15 denier tights with shorts are even better, but our work dress code will not allow that (the tights are ok – it is the shorts that are banned!)

No, the problem is the humidity and stickiness. I take my tights off when I get home. Ideally I would like straight away to shower and cool off, then put some fresh ones on.

There just does not seem to be enough time – not until I am ready to go to bed! Get home from work, have tea, wash up, deal with e-mails, write the odd blog entry (some are very odd indeed), then do my bit keeping the folks in the chat room happy! And before you know it, the clock has struck midnight, and Geraden has turned back into a pumpkin!

Hello Geraden,

  • Now you sound like me. I usually have to eat at work too. As I get home to late I hate to wake up my fiance' or baby. Sometimes my fiance' is awake to greet me when I arrive back home. I am working on resolving this problem. I know she misses me and I miss her.

  • That is too bad you couldn't wear shorts. I do, but I own the place. So no one can say anything.

  • I was away from tights for a bit, but when I got back to wearing them and since then, I cant stand a day without wearing tights, even in the heat and humidity.

  • Today I am wearing: royal blue running shorts, blue/white trainers, a white/blue Nike t-shirt with Futuro compression tights in suntan and over those Silkies in taupe. Did some errands, banking, nothing said. The sun is out and you can see the shine of the tights. Even stopped for petrol, no one said a thing and the petrol station is in full sunshine. Great day in tights.....

I tend to only wear tights when the temperature is 17 deg or less. Anything warmer and I find them uncomfortable when wearing under trousers. If wearing shorts, then I will wear my tights in any heat. :-)

Hi Daryll

Thanks for the comment. I have been wearing 7 or 10 denier sheers under light long trousers most of the days this summer, even when the temperature has been pushing 90ºF. You get used to it, and the trousers do not stick to your legs so much, so you can actually feel cooler and more comfortable.

But we each have to find our personal comfort level.
