Todays outing

Well had my usual shower and shaved my legs. I took a look outside and it was sunny. I looked at the weather monitor sitting on the dresser. It showed a change is coming, rain. It was also showing it was 49 ºF or 9.7 ºC. Im thinking yes a cool day in store.

So I found some deep green shorts, a deep green fall shirt, and some black opaque tights. I didn't know what I wanted for shoes. I wound up wearing Teva sandals.

I headed to the bank. Had a few looks, nothing I would say was bad. Just a look. I went to get some petrol. The station was packed. All the pumps were full and there was at least 7 people stil in line. So I got in line waited my turn. While I was getting the petrol, the lines filled again. Behind me was a young male driver. He had his radio blasting. You could feel the vibrations in the ground. But nothing I noticed. the credit card reader on the pump was down. So I had to go inside to pay. I was at the last pump, so I had to pass 5 other pumps, plus the distance to head inside. So I headed towards the station. I didnt notice anything, only one looker, quick look. I got inside the station and it was full, people getting the morning paper, coffee, etc. I was the 5th in line. Its finally my turn, as I am walking to the counter there is a young lady working the counter, she takes a look at what I am wearing. I tell her #6, my pump number. I hand her my credit card. While its processing, she takes another look, about 30 seconds or so later, she says, it sure is cool out today, I wonder if it will warm up. I said it isnt suppose to, not today, thats why I am wearing tights. She just looked at me, looked down, looked back to me and smiled. I smiled back. Signed my credit card recepit and headed out of the station. It was still full outside. No looks at all. Everyone was busy getting petrol.

So a great day out in tights.
