*GASP!* 65 percent wear NONE of the time?! That is very far from encouraging!

Well, if women really are hare-brained enough to think that Capri-style pants with bare legs are more flattering than a nice skirt and pantyhose, then we can only hope that those in the pantyhose business take note of the fact that men are wearing a lot more than women now and cater to them! I mean, they're not stupid, it's either that or go out of business!

How sad. My wife doesn't help matters either. She wears maybe a few times a year at my request.

It really must be time for the manufacturers to actively and enthusiastically pursue the men's market; the argument that they cannot do so for fear of alienating their core customer demographic is no longer valid. The figures do not lie; they must diversify and embrace change or suffer the consequences.

Well, well. How sad. But the fashion changes. From the mid 90's until recently there have been many dry years. But you can see a positive pro-tights trend again.

I guess here in the North Europe the situation is better than in the States. Here you can see lots of tights wearing female during the cold seasons. My wife, for example, is not a big fan of hosiery, but still she wears skirts and tights 2-4 times a week.

I'm surprised that the maximum is 7. Some people wear them to bed, meaning that they wear them 14 times per week.

5 seems to be a significant number. Perhaps many women still wear for work.

1 also seems significant. Maybe they wear for church?
