My Spanx Turbo tights are lovely soft tights, and even though they are footless they are a joy to wear. I simply wear a pair of sheers under them!
I was wearing them with shorts today, and a pair of Charnos Sheer Lustre 24/7 underneath. I had some garden rubbish and junk to take to the tip. I cleared the back of the car, lined the floor with polythene and old sheets and started loading the junk into the back hatch. I had to carry stuff through the garage, which is so full of the children's bicycles that the walkway is very narrow.
As I passed my son's bike, I caught my leg on the wire sticking out at the end of the gear cable, and felt a tug at my leg. I expected a pull, but when I looked down I saw that instead, my tights now had a hole in them about half an inch across. The fibre of the Spanx tights is very soft but it cannot be very strong. The Charnos tights underneath were undamaged.
The colour of the tights in the photo must be a trick of the light - they are black, not grey. Though they are not a very dense black, in the natural light they looked no lighter than my socks.
If these had been Activskins I doubt whether there would be any damage at all: as it is I have a tricky repair to do with a needle and thread, and the tights will never look the same again.

Well, you did what you could to keep wearing them and at least they were
not severely damaged. Honestly, they look fine. Just take care when walking
through junk-laden narrow passages in future!
