The poll "How did you find Geraden's site?" ran for 91 days from 29 Jul 06 to 28 Oct 06.
It did not attract as many votes as I would have hoped. It is harder than it looks to devise polls so that the right questions are asked. The fact that two of my options got nil votes shows that I got a few things wrong. I guessed that people would find this site by looking for 'Geraden' or simply because the site appeared in a completely unrelated search result. I do know however from other sources of information that quite a few people come onto this site by entering 'geraden' in a search engine. However, the poll did ask about first visits to the site.
It was simply bad luck that two days after I had launched the poll, Sal unexpectedly announced the closure of her tights-excite.com site. I was happy to be closely associated with this site, which was always among my top referrers, and I am very sad to see it go. Had the link from Sal's site remained, the 'tights-excite' option would undoubtedly have attracted a greater number of votes.
Anyway, here are the final results:

Were I running the poll again, I would have to include "got the link from 'Wikipedia'", which is where I have been getting a large number of hits ever since 5th Ocober.
That was when Harisnya put up the link to this site in the article he started, called Pantyhose for men. My hits have gone up by around 70% since that appeared!
Ok - does anyone have any suggestions for the next visitor poll?
Hi Geraden, An american gun magazine had an article about activskin and
activscin has a link to your site. Great site by the way. I got interested
in this due to circulation problems in my legs. It works better than drugs,
and is much heathier.
