Spilling the Beans

I've noticed things are a bit quiet again so I thought I'd throw my tights back into the ring again and send a bit more blog material.

This is one I added to an entry on LAUF but thought your readers might like it too, may even get a few responses - come on guys and gals we all have a story, don't just add to message board tell us properly and support Geraden.

This one happened just before Christmas and concerns my Mother in law (MIL hereafter), this day she came to my house early one morning to take the kids to school. Her opening line was to complain that she had put on blue tights with brown outfit and was concerned they looked odd, "I've got some brown tights you can have" I said. " I've got plenty of new pairs." I went upstairs and got a pair (M&S 60 Den brown)

You should have seen her face! But she quickly got over it, thanked me and went to change. When she came back she thanked me and said she would buy me some new tights to replace them - she never did!
So this is how I spilled the beans, half the family know now and my MIL owes me 1 pair of tights - I must remind her.

She couldn't give a monkeys if I wear tights or not, we've talked tights a few times and she's even asked advice, all in all a good reaction from a very conservative person.
