In which Harisnya tells about a recent male tights fashion photo shoot.

Our Hungarian friend, Harisnya, has sent me a report of a further male tights photoshoot that he did. He has kindly provided a preview of some of the photos as a taster. The full set will be viewable in due course on his site http://www.e-mancipate.net .
This time we left my home and asked a friend who runs a bar to use it on a day it was closed, for a small fee. So in the front part of the bar we could take everyday-like photos while at the back I could set up my paper backgrounds and use the dance floor as a studio.
The extra was of course the street-shot. As three of the four models were new to pantyhose for men, I stressed them to make the street at first - I knew if they would do it, they would do anything after.
But they were absolutely OK with it. We had a few looks from the people on the street, but it was more for the team of seven people (models, makeup, stylist, me) than for the hose.
During the whole day it was only the makeup girl who said that pantyhose for men was nonsense; but when I asked her that apart from being unusual, what 'nonsense' did she actually see, there was no answer.
One of my goals was to find where the limits were - where pantyhose colors or patterns would be too feminine for men. So I pushed the stylist to use white and pink, and other such 'femmy' colors - I had to explain to her several times that it wasn't a problem if we wouldn't use many of the images, as I needed to learn and it was an experiment. Surprise - I didn't have to throw out any images for that reason! So the big conclusion is that colors and patterns work fine on male legs, too.
And before you ask me... we mainly used pantyhose made in Poland and Italy. We had around a hundred pairs altogether to work with, from recent and older purchases, all sizes and colors. But we had no time and energy to follow which pair went where - this would need another person. So I only know that on the street image the guy wears a very expensive pair of Wolford pantyhose. And it looks good!"

A very nice collection of photos, Harisnya! I like the way in which you
have photographed male and female models in tights together. This
emphasises that tights can be an ordinary unisex item of clothing, and it
may help to dispel some of the myths, for example that a man must be a
homosexual if he wearing tights.

I have almost given up wearing ordinary men's trousers. Instead I wear
nylon/lycra running tights all the time - for shopping, visiting people,
playing games, croquet and so on. When they are dark colours I get no
comment at all. I can't get anything like as many other colours or patterns
as I would like but when I have worn bright scarlet I've had some wolf
whistles from cheerful workmen. Perhaps I should say I'm old (73) too fat
and white haired - so it isn't because I look good!
Nice photos. Was just curious, do the people in these photos actually wear
pantyhose and tights in public... say walking down a busy downtown street
and if so what are the reactions they get from men and women?

it look with these photo plus excellent fashion with tights to match - it
great look, men can wear tights with either short or skirt as normal dress
- it need to change tpye of fashion. Excellent pictures ive seen... Well
