The majority of pages on this blog are freely available to anyone who visits the site. This is not an X-rated site, and there is no X-rated material here, but there are things that are of a more personal or sensitive nature that I prefer to have a little more control over.

I have therefore published some entries as 'private', which means which means that they can only be read by people who have been given membership of the private pages. The membership policy is as follows.

Membership is for people I trust and have confidence in. For example:

• people I feel I know sufficiently well from places like tights-excite or LAUF
• people who have shown their bona fides by making worthwhile contributions to the discussions on this blog by commenting or submitting material for publication.
• people who have their own sites that I link to.

I do not give out memberships to people I do not know, so please do not ask.  

To request membership, you need to register with Blog City. I can invite people to join, but B-C has some problems with inviting people to set up B-C accounts. Their e-mails tend to go astray. It is therefore better if you have a B-C account before I invite you.  Go to http://geraden.blog-city.com/console if you don't have an account already. Then send me an e-mail from the address you registered on B-C, so I will know that you want to join. If you meet the criteria I can then approve you straight away. 

As a member you can both see and comment on entries on the private pages, and only members can see the comments you make.

Mailing List

You can also join my mailing list. That way you will be informed automatically whenever an entry is posted on the blog. When you sign up, uncheck the e-mail box first, because anonymous entries are removed automatically.

Posting on the Blog

This blog thrives on a variety of contributions with different styles and subject matter. I am always grateful for guest contributions that fit in with the general tone of this blog. If you contribute you may select a 'by' name and an avatar for publication. Further advice for contributors is found here.

Please send any contributions to me, geraden@gmail.com So long as a contribution fits in with the general ethos of this site I will consider it for publishing. Your name will go on the 'by' line and it will be labelled as a guest entry.
