The poll "What do you usually do about leg hair?" ran for three months from 11 Nov 06 to 10 Feb 07.
The poll showed that 20% of respondents do nothing about leg hair (this includes those who naturally have none). Just under 5% just give their leg hair a trim. That leaves over 3 out of 4 who get rid of leg hair.
Of those who remove their leg hair, over 6 out of 10 use wet razors and 1 in 10 use an electric shaver. Those who (like me) epilate account for 14%, and depilatory cream users for 9% . Waxing accounts for less than 1 on 20, and only one respondent selected other hair removal methods.
What must be borne in mind is that most visitors to this site are men, and most also wear hosiery regularly, and therefore have greater than usual reasons to remove their leg hair.
