It still allow in the UK to wear anything - no illegal, maybe depend on country, I was wear tights and denim mini skirt that seem to be allow in public Ive wearing many time as cops passing me without stop or ask anything

In the US it's illegal to be dressed indecently, but not illegal to crossdress. Also, where would you draw the line? Some people might claim that all the boys wearing girls skinny jeans are crossdressing.

epilators have been suggested. I've just bought a Braun and done my first epilate session. So far so good, but still a long way from hair free legs (which are essential for any tights wearing!!!)

Ordered some tights from Emilio Cavallini, they're great! Good stretch, warm, opaque. Good replacement for my regular sock-wearing.

Men should wear tights for any reason also protect from blood flow that quite important, I do wear all time, love it. I wear with skirt that nornmal clothes

Hi all,

A week ago I discussed with Geraden about the possibility of starting a tights art gallery. The conversation awakened some memories from my own glorious past, from the time when I was a keen draughtsman myself. I had to browse in my own archives, and somewhere in the darkest corner of the drawer I found two tights related biographical drawings.

The first Indian ink work features Miss X, a literature student, with whom I had a summer romance in 1986. But the summer turned to autumn and love faded (how sentimental!).

The second drawing is made a half year later and shows Miss Y ( nowadays a lawyer) defending herself against the diabolic Kaj’s attack.

The image texts are in Swedish; here are free translations in English:

Miss X in her dark blue (ribbed) cotton tights that make her feel just like ’this’ (dancing). On the floor lies a petticoat. From The Trip to Åbo (in Finnish ‘Turku’, the oldest town in Finland and Miss X 's hometown) Series, August-September 1986.

Kaj tries to tear Miss Y’s tights.

Hi Kaj

Thank you for sharing these drawings with us. You obviously have a talent and the way they are drawn makes it look easy. The surreal grin on Miss X's face shows that she is enjoying dancing in tights! And as for Kaj as the Devil, the less said the better. You obviously have a dark side!

Have you done any drawing recently? Maybe you should take it up again!

Hi Geraden,

Thank you for the comments. I can recall how cute Miss X was dancing in her tights. I had to immortalize that moment. I have no idea why I ripped Miss Y's sheer tights. Usually I strive to keep my own - and others tights as well – intact.

Nowadays I draw very little. Dull meetings are an exception. On those I entertain myself and my surrounding with ‘automatic’ drawings.

But I could make a self portrait of myself in tights. Or the long legged Mrs Kaj in her Wolfords.
