What do you look for in a tights package? Other than a good pair of tights, of course!
Do you like the basic Elbeo style of packaging or the slightly surreal Wolford one? Do you like Falke, with a non-tights wearing model on the front, or Max Mara with large leg shots? Do you like to see your model wearing nothing but tights, as on many Marks & Spencer packs, or tights as part of an elegant couture as on Levante?
I don't much care for partial shots that focus in on (for example) just the legs. As a leg man I have to admit that legs are vitally important, but in reality they are usually attached to some kind of person, female for preference. There is something demeaning about showing just the legs. So the image I like should focus on the legs (in tights, of course - sorry Falke) but should show a whole woman. The pose has to be right, and if it has had to be airbrushed for modesty's sake, there is something wrong with it.
Here is one of my favourites:

The model wears nothing but tights, but all the naughty bits are covered, and she is not bad looking, either! I just love those collar-bones!
What about the tights?
Well, they are nice enough, but too short for me, even in size large. And PP's sizing policy has got worse recently - usually only two sizes, s/m and m/l.
Update 30.06.2005

PP have redesigned the packaging for Perfectly Natural tights. These still come in S, M and L - no XL unfortunately. The picture on the front is simlar - same pose, same general idea, but it does nothing for me. This girl is pretty; the other one was drop-dead gorgeous.
As for the tights, they seem much the same - nice tights, but too short for me. Why did I waste £3.00 to find that out? Still they will come in handy for the tights swap shop.
