I was recently sent the following personal story, which I think you will enjoy. Thanks very much, Dave.
I've Lurked around your blog since the beginning - I've Now noticed a distinct drop in entries so I think its time I threw my tights into the ring and give my bit.
My story is, I'm sure, the same as 99% of your readers - I'm a 39 year old Hetero guy, married with 2 Children.
From my very earliest memories I recall being incredibly aware of tights and was highly envious of girls who could wear this wonderful garment that was out of bounds to me, I wanted tights too!
I kept this terrible, dark secret to myself as a youngster - it was torture, was I the only boy who wanted to wear tights?
At about 13 or 14 I had my first chance try a pair. I was staying over at a friend’s house. As his sister was away at college I was allowed to sleep in her bedroom. Teenage curiosity took over me, I just couldn't help myself and took a peek in her drawers to find a fairly sparse collection of hosiery of which I tried a pair of grey ribbed tights - that was it I was hooked, there was no going back. Funny thing is I've still got a soft spot for ribbed tights.
Forward fast to being in my late teens and desperate for some tights. I had nobody to "borrow" from so had to buy my own - I was shaking with fear, but had a great shopping experience in Sock Shop at kings Cross, the Sales Assistant saw right through me and helped get the right size "for me". That day removed any fear I had of shopping for hose.
That was 20 years ago; tights are now part of my everyday wardrobe I buy without fear. I don't hide my tights - I don't flaunt them either but if anyone ask I'll tell them. My wife blows hot & cold but in general doesn't mind. I haven't had any bad reaction from anyone. Like you say people only notice what they want to see.
It seems that there are lots of us guys into tights with all more or less the same tale to tell so it looks like a Nylon Gene is pretty normal after all!

Thanks for your story. One of these days I will "throw my tights into the
ring" and post my story. It will read like all the others, because our
stories are all very similar. It's good to see that we are not alone.

Hi Keith
Sorry for what appeared to be advertising my site, that was not my
intention in anyway and I hold my hands up and say that I misunderstood and
I apologise. However, in response to the comment made by Keith with
reference to it being for transvestites, that has sort of got my back up a
little, it is purely for enthusiasts and lovers of hosiery, whether male or

Excelent Dave, as I read Your and other`s members stories, I realize That I
not same kind of "weirdo" and there's a lot of men sharing my love for
