Having tried out the Marks and Spencer 15 denier run-resist tights, I turned to the 10 denier ones. I was impressed by the 15 denier ones, and these lighter weight ones were even better. They have the same softness and nearly the same amount of stretch, but they are smoother and feel even nicer to wear. The look is more matt than that of the 15 deniers.
Because of the higher lycra content (29%) these cling more than the 15 denier ones. The rest of the features are much the same as the latter: broad waistband, reinforced seam strip, gusset, reinforced toe.
Again, I think Marks & Spencer are onto a winner with these. And, unfortunately, I can attest that they really are ladder-resist.
I pulled up the waistband not realising that I had a ragged nail (how that happened I have no idea - I am ususally very careful) and the result: - a hole in the body part, but no laddering.
