My Brother Wears Tights

Not my brother, you understand (I don't have one) but someone else's. A correspondent on the forum at about.com writes:
Twice in last 3-4 months now I've stopped by my brother's place unannounced and found him wearing tights around the house. He's a bicyclist, so I've often seen him in spandex shorts and tight shirts, etc but these are footed tights like I would wear with a skirt. Both times he was wearing them just with regular shorts and t-shirt (the kind you'd see any guy wearing) and both times his wife was home with him and it appeared to be nothing out of the ordinary to her.

what can you say, other than to accept it as stockings. my husband has worn
for years and i have never had a problem. we met in ballet class and i was
used to seeing him in tights, later in stockings and now in pantyhose. he
only wears at home and when we are with family and friends. he is not a
public wearer, and he does not want to make a statement. we are the same
size and shop together for hose, the sales girls know us and often
compliment him for his selections and will give him advice on colors.
