BHS Bare Leg Control Tops

It is the end of summer, and ultra-sheer tights are disappearing from the shelves to make way for winter opaques. At least I guess that is what is happening in BHS right now, where I have just picked up some Bare Leg Look Control Tops for £2.80 instead of £4.00. That is for two pairs, so not bad!
I am wearing them now – size XL (of course) which fits me just fine, and colour 'golden'. Well it just looks like beige to me, but who am I to argue?
They are 8 denier appearance with invisibly reinforced toe; the lycra content is 14%. There is a slight sheen and they glide very well against themselves and other fabrics. The top has flat seams and the control effect is quite light. Do not expect much slimming from these, but there is enough control in the top to stop them working down.
Overall they are good quality Italian make and are lovely and soft and smooth to wear.
I might get some more if you lot haven't got there first!
You have an uncanny nose for a bargain, Geraden.
I thought these sounded interesting so I scuttled up to BHS today and
bought some of the same type in 'Natural Tan'. I don't know whose natural
tan they were thinking of, but I'm pretty sure they weren't from this
country! They make my legs substantially darker than the rest of me, and
they are a lot shinier than I would like if wearing in public.
They are very smooth to the touch though, and, as you said, they glide well
against other fabrics. They would make great 'trouser tights'.
A steal at £1.40 a pair!
