Geraden's Tips No. 8
When you get out of the shower or bath and want to put tights on straight away, you will probably find that they do not go on well, because the tights will cling to your still-slightly-damp legs.
Wetting the hands to pull them up in those circumstances does not help. Wearing a pair of latex gloves, or even rubber kitchen gloves, will give your hands the friction they need.
If you don't have a pair of gloves handy, try sprinkling your legs with talcum (baby) powder and rubbing it in. The tights will then go on as normal without clinging.
Once upon a time, baby powder was made from talc (a soft mineral) but there were concerns about possible respiratory problems from inhaled mineral dust. So now its chief constituent is maize starch (in other words, cornflour) though I have never tried that on my legs!
