It still allow in the UK to wear anything - no illegal, maybe depend on country, I was wear tights and denim mini skirt that seem to be allow in public Ive wearing many time as cops passing me without stop or ask anything
~ Doug ~
In the US it's illegal to be dressed indecently, but not illegal to crossdress. Also, where would you draw the line? Some people might claim that all the boys wearing girls skinny jeans are crossdressing.
~ Rod ~
is it legal to crossdress when outside as a female
~ Andy M ~
epilators have been suggested. I've just bought a Braun and done my first epilate session. So far so good, but still a long way from hair free legs (which are essential for any tights wearing!!!)
~ Adrian ~
With winter on the way I shall be cutting down on heating bills by wearing opaque tights with a wool kilt.

@badleg: Try Elbeo Sheer Magic or Elbeo Caresse. Size XL is available. They really do help...

Ordered some tights from Emilio Cavallini, they're great! Good stretch, warm, opaque. Good replacement for my regular sock-wearing.

Asda Ultimate Leg Care Medium Support Tights

posted Monday, 5 November 2007

Danielby Daniel

I am always happy to publish contributions from readers of this blog. Here is a guest review from Daniel, for which I am grateful.

The Blurb: ‘...To revitalise active leg with gentle tummy control...'

Basic Information:

Cost - £2.50
Denier - 20
Mix - 82% Nylon 18% Lyrca
Features:  Medium Support - Factor 8, treated with aloe vera, cotton gusset, reinforced toe, raised seams
Size Range - Small to X Large

The Review:

Upon opening the packet the first thing which hits you is the smell of the aloe vera - very strong but not off putting, actually quite a pleasant smell! Once you handle these tights their softness is rather apparent, they are so soft in your hand and more than justify the £2.50 price tag in this department. Unfolding the tights reveals a delicate floral pattern around the crotch area which is a nice touch at tights this price.

Asda Medium SupportPutting these tights on the story only gets better. They feel really delicate in your hands and once your hand gets to the supported area the softness is retained throughout. Putting these tights over your legs requires a little bit of patience. These tights are extremely tight and fit like a second skin (I'm not kidding!) Putting these tights on will require a little bit of skill, getting a hold on the material to pull them up isn't easy but it is doable with some patience!

The supported area feels fantastic and doesn't look unsightly either. The remainder of the tights also fit well and cling to the skin real close but without being constricting. They do stretch but you will have to use some gentle persuasion on them, yes they're 20 denier but be careful, sheer tights they still are so they are prone to laddering easily.

Once you have them on, the overall look is highly satisfying. The colour is a lovely shade (I chose a natural colour pair but they come in black also) with the colour distribution even from waist to toe. There is an oh-so-slight shine in the right light which looks very luxurious.

These tights function brilliantly and not only do they provide great support (just the thing for walking around town and being on your feet all day!) they are great for a little extra warmth. Usually for warmth I'll go for something heavier like a 100 cotton rich opaque. They also keep you cool if it's a little warmer! They stay in place extremely well and the waistband sits comfortably on your waist.

To summarise then, these are absolutely fantastic sheer to waist tights which MORE than justify the £2.50 price tag. I would happily pay £10 for these tights. If you are looking for a good support tight than this may just be the pair for you.

This is a great review, Daniel, and I am sorely tempted to pay a visit to Asda on your recommendation. Especially as I like wearing support tights - they ease the pain I get in one of my legs.

Once again, thank you.

Geraden

I know how that feels Geraden, I keep getting these tremors and spasms in my leg and I must admit that these did help with that.

I fully agree with this review, I wear support tights all the time nowadays due to circulation problems and I have tried many brands including those designed specifically for men, but these are by far the most comfortable. They are now sold at £4 for two pairs and I have virtually emptied the shelf of them at my local ASDA just in case they should stop selling them.

Hi, I am new here so just a quick autobiography first , ten on to my comment. I have just found this site and find some very interesting info here. I have been wearing all sorts of tights, hold ups and stockings for over 15 years. Not for sexual purposes but leg support, warmth, and just sheer comfort (they feel great too) I have been fully supported by my wife and my 16 year old son takes no notice since he has grown up knowing nothing different, My MIL also knows and understands etc etc etc. My comment here is that Today, i went back to ASDA to buy more of the same tights on review here. I bought a pack last week (because my legs where aching) as they where so cheap and WOW! how come I never found these before? I have vowed to add them to my weekly shopping list, even if I dont need them ( you can never have too much of a good thing! SO go and buy some now, even if you are a new or prospective wearer, you will never look back.
