~ Doug ~
In the US it's illegal to be dressed indecently, but not illegal to crossdress. Also, where would you draw the line? Some people might claim that all the boys wearing girls skinny jeans are crossdressing.
~ Rod ~
is it legal to crossdress when outside as a female
~ Andy M ~
epilators have been suggested. I've just bought a Braun and done my first epilate session. So far so good, but still a long way from hair free legs (which are essential for any tights wearing!!!)
~ Adrian ~
With winter on the way I shall be cutting down on heating bills by wearing opaque tights with a wool kilt.

@badleg: Try Elbeo Sheer Magic or Elbeo Caresse. Size XL is available. They really do help...

Ordered some tights from Emilio Cavallini, they're great! Good stretch, warm, opaque. Good replacement for my regular sock-wearing.

A contribution from Richard

By Richard

We welcome another guest contributor today. Richard is from the USA, and writes as 'Nudestph2007' on the Delphi Forum, Legwear as Unisex Fashion. He has kindly allowed me to edit some e-mail correspondence we have had and present it as an article here.

Been to your blog quite a few times. Each time, it is a pleasure to visit. I think you are doing a real service, by having this blog.

I would like to write more for you. As I feel that the time is right for us males to openly wear.

But, I guess, it is the religious up-bringing that stands in the way. You know the mums (mothers, moms) that for some reason, only tell their sons that "Boys don't wear girls' clothes". And yet, they say nothing to their daughters, about girls wearing boys' clothes.

On this side of the pond, we have televangelists about, saying of "It is a sin"...Yet, the daughters, wives go home after church, to put on say, a "T" shirt, that is for males. Or, like at where I work (cannery), VERY male boots for work. We have a mixed up society, with mixed beliefs. And, this "mix-up" is being passed on, from generation, to generation.

This is similar to the "I hate tomatoes" thread that I wrote about. And, the "I hate pantyhose (tights), and you will too". (In LAUF/Delphi Forums)

IĀ appreciate your blog. It is refreshing. And a positive way for mothers to get their sons to wear also. Or getting acceptance, if mother catches their sons wearing nylons.

Many will have to get over the "fetish" issue. Sure, this is how many start. However, as long as males wear as a "fetish", then acceptance will take longer. And many websites are catering to this "fetish", rather than a legitimate real world wear.

Geraden, I really do wear nylons! I've talked to many ladies. I'd gather over 200. 90% are in favor, up to 98%.The really small percent, are not too much in favor, to "a NO way" type.

The manufacturers and the advertisers (most of them) are still for females only. More acceptance would be, having both male and females wearing. Like on Levee and a scant few others have done. This, I think would do for much more acceptance, than the "fetish" idiocy that is prevailing for now.

Geraden, I do prefer ladies shoes over male shoes. I like the styles, from flats to heels. Like the females, I wear with nylons, and I like them. Many times, I've worn nylons with heels for dinner, as in going out. I wear the "male styled" ladies heels, with pants that covers most of the shoes. Sitting down, is another thing...my pant legs do ride up. Exposing my nylons and heels. Anyway, just want you to know how I feel.

If anything will help our cause, please, feel free. I just want the XXX websites, to stick it. We aren't wearing for, or as a "fetish" wear.

On your blog, noticed some pictures you put up. England sure is green.

Maybe it is a question of religious preference for all you in US...I have never understood the way religion has developed in US ..but in Denmark the church has no influence at all in that matter as many others. It is more a question about equality between man and woman. It is a social norm. A man ranges still as no one. No one will think that God cares of what clothes a man or a woman wear now a days.

No one laugh at women who like to wear men's clothes..but mens and women as well laugh at men who wear women's clothes...even it is just tights/pantyhose...When women laugh at men in pantyhose they fight down their own gender to be the second gender. They ridicule themselves and it is really sad.
